Accurate Pattern: A History
Accurate Pattern Inc. has been a family-owned business since its inception.
Currently, Accurate Pattern Inc. is owned and operated by the husband and wife leadership team of Polly Sackett, President & CEO and Kevin Williams, Vice-President & COO. Polly and Kevin purchased Accurate Pattern Inc. from Kevin’s father, Bruce Williams.
Timeline
1985
Accurate Pattern was started by brothers Bruce and Brian Williams in February of 1985 with its first location being in Bruce’s basement and garage.
1986
In 1986, “Accurate Pattern & Model, Inc.” was incorporated, with Bruce Williams named as President and Karen Williams as attending officer.
1989
Ernie Bull joined the Accurate Pattern team in January of 1989 and is the current senior account manager of the metal shop overseeing fixtures and gauges.
After several different locations in Butler, Accurate Pattern moved into its previous location on Townsend Road in Brookfield boasting 6000 square feet of space.
Kevin Williams began working at Accurate Pattern when he was 8 years old with his first job of wiping down machines and cleaning bathrooms.
1991
In 1991, Accurate Pattern began machining investment cast dies.
1992
In January of 1992 Ernie & Bruce completed advanced training of ULTRACAM, which allowed design and CNC machining directly from blueprints.
Accurate Pattern began designing and building automotive fixtures and gauges in the early 1990s and is still working with many of its initial customers.
Over the next decade, business continued to grow and expand & stayed on the cutting edge of technology, adding CAD/CAM workstations and additional CNC capabilities.
Further service expansion included large pattern, tool, & plug making for the fiberglass, vacuum forming, and marine industries, as well as Duratec spray paint finishing.
2002
In 2002, the company shortened its name to Accurate Pattern, Inc. to better match the variety of services they offered and updated their logo to reflect the company’s state-of-the-art equipment and processes.
2007
In November of 2007, Accurate Pattern moved to its current location at 12833 W Glendale Ave, Butler, WI. The plant is 19,000 square feet of shop and office plus 5,000 square feet of usable mezzanine.
2008-2017
From 2008 until 2017, Accurate Pattern expanded from 12 to 21 employees and annual revenue climbed above $2M.
2018-2021
Between 2018 and 2021, Bruce, Karen, Kevin and Polly worked together to create a succession plan with family relationships at the heart of the transition.
2022
Accurate Pattern Inc. continues to be on the cutting edge of new technology, as demonstrated by the recent purchase in July of 2022 of our new 5-axis Haas UMC-1000 CNC router.
